A few weeks ago I decided to get the Tallgeese III off of amazon as a quick weekend project to practice. I also couldnt find the W-Gundam Zero Custom from that same set so the Tallgeese III would have to do.

I got it for $33 off of the Amazon Marketplace, by a seller that supports Amazon fulfillment so I could use my Amazon Prime with it. The box was completely screwed.

As far as I can remember I have been interested in models. I remember being in my grandfather’s shop and buying car models only to completely screw them up as I had no real idea of how much glue I needed and I also lacked something that is paramount to the building of models.

Patience.

A few months ago I decided to finally go through a few Gundam model kits I had collected and stored over the years. I had quite a few Super Deformed kits and two High Grade kits. I also had two Master Grade kits, that I would open from time to time only to go through the instruction manual and be overwhelmed with how I would probably screw these models up.

I finally mustered up the courage, possibly because of a LEGO building spree that I went on last November that made me want to continue building things. I went through some of the SDs and then I went through the High Grades. Then, I convinced myself to dive into the Master Grades.

I built them. They didn’t turn out that great.

Here I am though, starting a blog about them. I will get better at building them and I will document that journey here.
